We just finished a polling briefing with Speaker Gingrich, Republican Pollster Kellyanne Conway, and Democratic Pollster Doug Schoen on the economy, energy, education, and health. The full results of the poll will be released on Solutions Day this Saturday, but we wanted to share a few of the fascinating results that pertain to the economy and potential Wall Street bailout.
The survey of 1,000 likely voters nationwide was fielded from September 16 to 21 during the time the $700 billion bailout was first proposed.

I have always thought that "Newt Gingrich" was differant from all of the "Blood-Suckers" in Washington. ThAre was always a differant tone in his voice. It's like he get's it. He works for us. The "Blood Suckers" know all the right things to say to get voted into office. When they get in, it's all about them sucking us working people dry. Something went wrong way back in 1959, and it gets worse every year. It is now starting to "Come Un-Glued, and Parts Landing Every whAre". I saw it comming 3 years ago, but Nothing Like This.........! Well, we have one more person in Washington that talks like he knows what he's saying, and like "Newt Gingrich" knows how Washington is soposed to work. "Ron Paul", like Obama, everything that comes out of his mouth, is just what this country needs. He, gets it. Seems to me if we had Barock Obama, Newt Gingrigh, and Ron Paul, all working in the "White Haus", things would get back to the way our Goverment was set up to work many years ago. God For Bid, if our Founding Fathers could look threw the window today and see "How Mess'ed Up This Country Is"................! And, It's All Greed, in Washington. When a politician promises a job it's going to be a government job that will be paid by taxes from the public funds. Hillary promised a hundred thousand jobs for up state New Yorkers when she was running for the the Senate. The blind voted for her and put her in office and for the last year and a half she has not been present at her elected job because she has been seeking another job and failed at that. Why are people so blind and dumb?

What people dont understand is that a barrel of Oil is 44 Gallons. Out of that 44 Gals. the same amount of all the fuel's comes out of each barrel. but man was it big. It was a revised report (hadn't been
updated sin ce '95) on how much oil was in this area of
the western 2/3 of North Dakota; western South Dakota; and

The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since
Alaska 's Prudhoe Bay , and has the potential to
eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy
Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion
barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... at
$107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth
more than $5.3 trillion.
'When I first briefed legislators on this, you could
practically see their jaws hit the floor. They had no idea,
says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's financial

'This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore
oil field found in the past 56 years,' reports The

Wow am I ticked off right now! I just finished watching the VP debate and then started thinking about the "economic crisis." The GREED of the wealthy is so aggravating!
As lower middle class Americans, my husband and I have struggled with our credit for as long as we have been married. (4 years)Due to periods of unemployment we were unable to pay some medical bills and cell phone bills, which then went to collections. Thus accruing more fines and debt and delinquencies reporting to our credit reports. I must also add that money mismanagement in college also aided in lowering our credit scores to below 600.
We have experienced first hand how having poor credit leaves you prey to predatory lenders. When you have poor credit the only auto loans you can get are at extremely high interest rates. The only credit cards you can get have large fees and high interest rates attached to them. Now days many employers look at your credit reports before hiring you.
When trying to fix your credit score the only advice you can find is pay your bills on time and pay off your collections. How does one do this if they can't find a job because they have poor credit?
Like most Americans it has been our dream to have our own home. To pay a mortgage on a property that would be ours rather than pay rent to a wealthy landlord. Two years ago we looked for a mortgage through Countrywide. We received one offer from a bank with incredibly ridiculous terms, high interest, and balloon payments. Thank God that my husband talked with his boss about this and she advised against this. We were thinking of going through with it because we really wanted a house of our own, a yard for our son to play in, and a garden to grow vegetables.
In the debate tonight the question was asked in regards to the economic crisis "Who do you think was at fault? . . . Was it the greedy lenders? Was it the risky home-buyers who shouldn't have been buying a home in the first place? And what should you be doing about it?"
HMMMM!!! let me think about that. The risky home-buyers who shouldn't have been buying a home in the first place! OH PLEASE! It was the greed of the filthy rich!!!
OH that urks me! Extremely greedy lenders took advantage of people with poor credit. They probably used the term "less than perfect credit" to lure them in. These "risky home-buyers" wanted to live the American Dream. A bank was willing to lend to them. Sure there was a balloon payment or it was an interest only payment plan. (WHO THE HELL CAME UP WITH THAT?) Of course they went for it. Mortgage brokers were probably telling them that this was their chance. They could agree to these terms now and in a little while they could refinance to a conventional fixed rate, or they probably pumped them up on how they could make money on this, in a year they could sell that house for tens of thousands more than they were getting it for that day.
So the greed of the lenders, the greed of the sales people, and the failure to regulate lending practices lead to this crisis!
And now they hope to pass a $700 billion bailout bill or is it up to $850 B now. Since government is considering stepping in and it will be my tax dollars that go to pay for this I demand that they help the "risky home-buyer" get out of the grasp of the predatory greedy lenders, by getting them out of horrible loans, and into conventional loans.
Funny, every where you read, and everyone you talk to "Is Pissed Off", about what has been and will continue to be, unless WE Ghange It ! Every year we need to vote on almost anything, we hear what realy needs to be done. But after the votes are counted, its back to the same ol goverment.
